CHROME IT CHROME SPRAY SYSTEMS AND THEIR ADVANTAGES!!!

The CHROME IT chrome spray systems are specially developed machines, suitable for spray chrome.

CHROME IT chrome is a patented hybrid of paint and plating that allows you to paint a chrome finish on anything from: Metals, Fibre Glass, Polystyrene Ceramics, Plastics, Glass and even Wood with a chrome spray paint.

CHROME IT spray chrome or chrome paint is ideal for use where traditional electroplating plating and vacuum metallizing are unsuitable due to cost, size, design, substrate material, or environmental issues. If it can’t be electroplated it can be chrome painted with CHROME IT.

The CHROME IT spray on chrome system is comprised of three proprietary coatings. One of the coatings are proprietary automotive grade paints that are applied in your paint booth with your quality paint guns and using your painting skills.

The metallic spray chrome coating is applied with a special CHROME IT chrome spray machine that applies a sprayed on electro-less plating solution.

Three layers of proprietary chemical products are used. These are,

1. CHROME IT BASE COAT: A catalyzed paint that creates a smooth surface that is reactive to and accepts the intermediate metal coating. Works as a primer on many surfaces.

2. CHROME IT METAL COATING: A several step water based process that creates a brilliant white metallic reflective layer on the primer. The specific steps are:

  1. Activator
  2. Distilled Water Rinse
  3. CHROME IT Metallic Coating
  4. Distilled Water Rinse
  5. CHROME IT Rapid Sealer
  6. Distilled Water Rinse
  7. Compressed Air Blow Off

3. CHROME IT TOPCOAT: Protective catalyzed tint-able clear high gloss sealer. CHROME IT topcoat is formulated to bind through the metal into the primer. This creates a bonded final finish that resists peeling or flaking. This clear coat will prevent the chrome from turning yellow like ALL other competitors.
